A cozy mystery, There’s a Hole, brings to life a common person and his desire, or lack-there-of, to solve a mystery.

The Good

  • Interesting mystery
  • Good book for a relaxing wind-down at the end of a day
  • Descriptive and realistic family life
    • Made we wonder if these written events, even some, are true.
    • I imagine the author has (or had) kids, but if not, good work.
  • A solid clean PG book
  • Large print for easy and fast read.

The Bad

  • No page numbers
  • A little uneventful, although I imagine that was on purpose.

The Unsure*

  • I didn’t like the inclusion of an extra story because it’s out of place. Albeit, the story is written well.

*My opinion: what I didn’t care for or do not prefer. This will not lower a rating unless it overly distracts from the story.

For those looking for a good cozy mystery I would recommend “There’s a Hole.”
