The grand end to one of my favorite series has finished with the completion of The Emperor’s Doom (Tales of Tzoladia Book 5).
The Good
- A fun, riveting completion to the series.
- To which I enjoy, there’s a lot of death, destruction, pain, grief, and even a little creepiness/darkness. I mean, take a look at the awesome cover art which helps describe this book.
- Redemption. Yes, this is still a book about Adon saving “mankind” though His prophecy declared long along.
- Characters are still developed well and are easily differentiated from each other. That is to say, the characters are complicated enough to stand on their own.
The Bad
- The series is over.
- A suggestion is for R.A. Denny to continue using this complex world she created or interconnected this world with another.
- I’m thinking along the lines of what Brandon Sanderson does with his books.

The Unsure*
- N/A
*My opinion: what I didn’t care for or do not prefer. This will not lower a rating unless it overly distracts from the story.
You will find the completion of the series Tales of Tzoladia satisfying with The Emperor’s Doom. I highly recommend it!
